Admissions Policy
It is our intention to make our pre-school genuinely accessible to children and families from all sections of the local community and surrounding areas. In order to accomplish this, we will ensure that:
Behaviour Management Policy
We believe that children and adults flourish best in an ordered environment in which everyone knows what is expected of them and children are free to develop their play and learning without fear of being hurt or hindered by anyone else. We aim to work towards a situation in which children can develop self-discipline and self-esteem in an atmosphere of mutual respect and encouragement.
Collection Policy
Children are to be collected by parents/carers promptly at the end of each session. The morning session ends at 11.30 am and the afternoon session at 3.00 pm.
One member of staff adjacent the gate will register the children out, a second member of staff will stand by the door, so as to ensure that the children leave with their respective parent/carer.
Complaints Procedure Policy
As a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance we aim to provide the highest quality education and care for all our children. We aim to offer a welcome to each individual child and family and to provide a warm and caring environment within which all children can learn and develop as they play.
Curriculum Policy
Little Saplings Pre-School curriculum is derived from The Department for children, schools and families’ Early Years Foundation Stage (Every child matters), and is based on 4 themes; A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments and Learning and Development.
Diet and Nutrition
