Payment
Invoices for non funded hours are issued on a termly basis and payable in 3 staged payments. Accounts must be kept in Credit at all times. Full details can be found on our terms and conditions of payment.
If you wish to remove your fee-paying child from the Pre-School, we require 4 weeks paid notice.
Fees are payable for all reserved sessions, not only those attended.
Funding
Children are eligible for funding for up to a total of 15 hours over a minimum of three days, the term after their 3rd Birthday, subject to available places. These hours may be shared over two settings.
Additional places are offered on a termly basis and are distributed in strict date of birth order; therefore, if places you require are not available, they will hopefully be available the next term.
2 year olds
Up to 10 hours of free early education and childcare is available to eligible 2 year olds. For full details of the criteria of eligibility please visit your local children’s centre, where if eligible you can register. You cannot register for the funding at the preschool.
Fundraising
Little Saplings is a Registered Charity (Reg no. 1120991), and therefore fundraising is a vital part of the committee’s work. As fees/funding only cover the basic day-to-day running costs, i.e. staff wages, utilities and supplies, without the fund-raising income, the Pre School would cease to operate. Therefore, it is important that we have parents’ full support.
We also request a £5 per child per ½ term voluntary contribution; this helps cover the cost of the children’s healthier snack and craft materials.
