Welcome to Little Saplings Pre-School. We have been in existence in various guises for over 25 years, starting as a Mother and Toddler group, developing into a Playgroup and subsequently the Pre-School it now is.

The Pre-school is situated in the grounds of Goldington Green Lower School. The spacious accomodation, both inside and out, enables us to offer  a stimulating and well resourced learning environment that is constantly evolving as our children develop and mature.We are very pleased out our large secure outside area.The large garden offers various amenities to the children which includes a quiet area, story telling corner, sensory garden, digging area, sandpit, mound and slide, large covered patio area which incorporates a variety of surface based activities,all of which permit and encourage the children to ''''''''free flow'''''''' inside and out. In 2003 we successfully achieved P.L.A ACCREDITED STATUS, as well as   being involved in the Sure Start scheme.

Pre-School is open 10 sessions per week (school term only) comprised of ten 2.5 hour sessions, these being:

  9.00 - 11.30 a.m.
12.30 -   3.00 p.m.
 

 The Pre-School is registered for 30 children per session. Each session is run by the Play leader and 4 members of staff. We have a staff-to-child ratio of 1 to 8 for those over the age of 3 and of 1 to 4 for those children who are under 3.
 

Available for all Pre-School children, we are also able to offer:

Sunshine Club        8.00 -  9.00  pm

 All children are eligible for funding for up to 5 sessions, the term after their third birthday, subject to available places.

Additional places are offered on a termly basis and are distributed in strict date of birth order; therefore, if places you require are not available they will hopefully be available the next term.
